Perspectives from the PACE platform.

Development updates and perspectives on the work required to bring power and compute capacity together.

Development note · September 2026

Lone Star: advancing the path to first power.

PACE has completed an initial engineering review of the behind-the-meter natural gas generation approach for Lone Star. A development framework is in place to advance initial sitework and gas transportation infrastructure while definitive arrangements with gas providers are finalized.

The working schedule targets first gas delivery in approximately 10–12 months, subject to final agreements, permitting, construction, and other execution milestones.

In Glasscock County, Texas, the 932-acre Lone Star Project is planned around a 300 MW Phase I and a longer-term campus concept of up to 1.5 GW.

Platform perspective

Speed to compute is an execution question.

Large-scale compute demand turns power availability, fuel delivery, equipment, land, water, fiber, and construction into one schedule. PACE evaluates those dependencies together and advances projects through the technical and commercial milestones that define usable capacity.
